What is FESA?

The Folklore and Ethnomusicology Student Association (FESA) is Indiana University's student-led community for anyone interested in learning more about folklore and ethnomusicology!

You do not need to have a major or minor in Folklore and/or Ethnomusicology in order to be involved in the club.

What do you do?

During meetings we take the time to build relationships between our members and create a community of folklore enthusiasts.

The meetings cover various topics of interest in the fields of folk and ethno. We also plan major events that can be found on the 'Events' page.

How can I join?

Glad to hear that you are interested! Before the semester starts, the board will be deciding when and where we'll have our meetings!

We post the details of our meetings both at the top of this page, as well as on Instagram! We are currently meeting in person with a Zoom option.

Reach out through the details on our 'Meet the Leadership' page to get more information and receive the Zoom link.
